A message from our team Captain - Quinn O'Brien

As we gear up for the 2025-2026 season, the Pontiacs are proud to announce our team captain:

#14, Quinn O'Brien (Campbell's Bay, QC).

Quinn wanted to share his outlook for the upcoming season, and both his team goals and personal goals with the Pontiacs.

"As we head into another hockey season I want to first express my gratitude for the opportunity to play in Fort-Coulonge. I really appreciated the Comets fans and ownership group. I'm proud of how much the team grew last season. And while it's unfortunate things didn't work out there, I'm thrilled the team is staying local and in the Pontiac.

I'm excited for the chance to continue building our fan base in the Shawville area.

After talking with Darcy and the coaching staff, I'm excited to see the continued growth of our team and senior hockey in our region.

Management have done a great job building our team thus far which has a nice balance of young and old players with experience. This balance should make us competitive all year and bring some exciting fast hockey.

Our leadership group are all guys that have been in these roles before which brings experience, quiet confidence, and a calmness to the locker room.

Personally, I look to add to that presence by contributing when called upon both defensively and offensively.

Being named team captain and playing (at home) in the Pontiac again, after travelling for almost two decades is an honour.

I hope to see lots of familiar faces, and new ones too!

Our fans can look forward to an exciting hockey season! Go Pontiacs!
